God is in the driver's seat. When I am in the car and my brother is driving me around, I fall asleep. I fall asleep because my brother is a good driver. I fall asleep because he knows the way to get to our destination. I don't know the way and there is nothing to be gained if I question every turn he takes. I know he knows the way, so I rest.
My relationship with God should be like that. God is in control. He knows the way. He knows how to get me there. Why should I be fretting? Omygosh, can you drive a little faster? Are you sure this is the right way?
I shouldn't trust my brother more than I trust God. Trusting God is falling asleep like Jesus (Mark 4:38) because you know God is in control and won't let any harm come near you. He will make it work out for your good (Rom 8:28). He has a good plan for your future (Jeremiah 29:11)
