God doesn't want any gods before -- literally, above -- Him (Exodus 20:3) or even with Him.  Many times, we put God first in our lives, but not God alone.

Ye shall not make with Me gods of silver
neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
--Exodus 20:23

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
--Matthew 6:24

Mammon here means mammōnás, literally, the treasure a person trusts in.

Does God have the final say about your life and how you spend your money (tithes, offerings, giving to the poor)? Or does money dictate how you spend your money on the needs in your life? You cannot obey God's dictates concerning how to spend your money, and depend on your money to meet your needs at the same time. Tried it; it's really hard to do, as you are constantly torn between obeying God first and trusting Him to supernaturally meet the needs in your life, or first meeting the needs in your life and then obeying God after everything else has been settled.

Where are you looking today? Where you look determines what you see.

Abraham was about to kill Isaac because there was no lamb for the sacrifice

But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said,
“Abraham, Abraham!”...Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked,
and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns.
So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering
instead of his son. --Genesis 22:13

Similarly, Hagar was about to watch her son, her only son, die of thirst, but:

Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water.
And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink
--Genesis 21:19

Abraham and Hagar saw their divine provision, the answers to their need due to the intervention of God. Look up to God today and ask Him to show you where your provision is, where the answer to your problem is.

Are you looking to man, your abilities or God to get you out of that tight situation?

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help
My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
--Psalm 121:1-2

They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
--Psalm 34:5

Every time God sees -- sees the affliction, the lack, the need -- in the lives of His people, He provides. And God always sees:

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?
He that formed the eye, shall he not see?
--Psalm 94:9

In the story of Abraham and Isaac, the Lord said to Abraham, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you" (Genesis 22:2). As they went Isaac inquired about the lamb for the sacrifice; Abraham responded:
And Abraham said, my son,
God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:
so they went both of them together.
--Genesis 22:8

And after God provided a lamb for the sacrifice (Genesis 22:13):

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh.
As it is said to this day,
In the mount of Jehovah it will be provided.
--Genesis 22:8 (American Standard Bible)

The word translated as provide is the Hebrew word yir·'eh meaning to see, from the root raah

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh
as it is said to this day,
In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
--Genesis 22:8 (King James Version)

God saw Abraham's faith, obedience and the need for a lamb for the sacrifice, and God provided a lamb for the sacrifice. Again, when Abraham sent Hagar away, God heard her affliction and blessed her (Genesis 16:10-11):

And she called the name of the LORD that spoke unto her,
You God, see me: for she said, Have I also here seen him that sees me?
--Genesis 16:13

The word translated as see in this verse is the Hebrew word ra·'i·ti from the same root raah as in Genesis 22:8. So, here again, God saw Hagar's affliction, her need, and he responded with a solution for her situation.

"But if God has been seeing all this while, why hasn't He provided?" Have you been walking in this revelation? Present to God your strong reasons with this new revelation, in faith, and watch Him uphold the integrity of His word!

Because Jesus Himself said:

“Therefore do not worry, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For after all these things the Gentiles seek.
For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
--Matthew 6:31-34

The word know is the greek word oida meaning to have seen, perceived, hence to know

So: don't worry! God knows! He has seen what you need and He will provide! Let these words sink deep into your spirit and build up your faith. He has seen. He knows what you need. And as you obey Him, and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, He will add all these other things to you because He knows what you need!

The God we serve, who is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), is the God who sees and because He sees, He will provide whatever we need in that situation.
Remember God sees = God Provides

God, why do some people seem to not receive answers to their prayers? How can I have faith to believe for my own answers to prayers if they did not receive answers to their prayers?

If someone tells you to go to a bright pink neon building (in other words, you can't miss the building) because there is treasure in there waiting for you, do you stop driving before you reach the building? You don't stop short, you keep driving until you reach the building.

It is the same way with faith. You keep driving and driving, no matter even if you think you should have arrived at the pink neon building by now. No matter how long or how far, you keep driving until you get to the building. The same way with faith because faith ALWAYS delivers in the end. "The Scriptures cannot be broken" --John 10:35

Simply because other people said that they were driving to the pink neon building doesn't mean you will have the same results that they did. You don't know if they gave up because they thought the pink neon building doesn't exist and turned back; perhaps they stopped for fuel on the way, or maybe they turned back because they had given up and then later changed their minds and kept driving towards the pink neon building.

You just keep driving towards the pink neon building, just keep believing and holding on to God's promise because:

Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.
                                       --Romans 3:4

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
                                 --Titus 1:2

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie
we might have a strong consolation,
who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
                                       --Hebrews 6:18

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
                                                 --2 Corinthians 13:8

It is God who blesses me and gives me the ability to get wealth.
Not my job, not my parents, not my skills -- but God.

then you say in your heart,
‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’
“And you shall remember the Lord your God,
for it is He who gives you power to get wealth,
that He may establish His covenant
which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

It is God's blessings that make me rich, NOT my pay cheque

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.

God wants to take me from increase to increase

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

As I refresh others, I will be refreshed

There is one who scatters, yet increases more;
And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty.
The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.
--Proverbs 11:24-25

You shall surely give to him [the poor]
and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him,
because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works
and in all to which you put your hand.
For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying,
‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’

Rest from worry, from striving -- rest from anything and everything that troubles us, comes from the Presence of God. It comes from knowing God. Not just from hearing about Him or reading about Him but from really and truly knowing God.

Many times we are worried about stuff in our lives because we have trouble believing God's Word concerning our situations. And this is because we don't know God. It's a lot easier to trust somebody when you know them. The better you know them, the easier it is for you to trust them.

We need to know God. The more we know God, the more we will trust Him, and His promises to us.

Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight,
show me now Your way, that I may know You
and that I may find grace in Your sight.
And consider that this nation is Your people.”
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
 -- Exodus 33:13-14

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
-- Acts 3:19

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father,
and no one knows the Son except the Father.
Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son,
and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
-- Matthew 11:33:13-14

Let us learn of Jesus; He knew the Father

Don't you want to see the miracles of the Bible manifest undeniably in your own life?!

Let Him now break forth in miracle and holy gifts,
let it be seen that He is still the living God
in the midst of His dead people,
and they will be quickened to a resurrection by sight.
Now they see that God can do something still, and has His liberty.
He can hear prayers
He can help them triumph in dark hours
their bosom sins He can help them master,
all His promises in the Scripture He can fulfill,
and they go to Him with great expectations.
They see, in these gifts, that the Scripture stands
that the graces and works, and holy fruits of the apostolic ages
are also for them.
It is as if they had now a proof experimental of the resources embodied in the Christian plan.
The living God, immediately revealed, and not historically only
begets a feeling of present life and power
and religion is no more a tradition, a second-hand light
but a grace of God unto salvation, operative now

Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
